Entering with the password 'Fiddlesticks' |
Originally known as "Oliver's Place", this is the speakeasy on Plunkett Street.
To enter, you need to remember the password "Fiddlesticks" (with Ambition: "Just let me in, I'm a celebrity." - but does not let you in).
Interactions
- Fancy Dan, the bartender: you can ask him about the watch you are looking for. He says Oliver Gluck, the owner is the only one with a watch and he went to pick up hooch from the refrigerator factory. He gives you an Ocean City napkin map and unlocks Plunkett Street and Fridge Factory on your map.
- You can get free drinks here. Initially he only has beer but you can bring other items back to expand the selection - see below.
- When you return to Dan with the deed to the Speakeasy on day 1, you become the owner of the club and choose its name. If you have Ambition, "(player name)'s Place. It's the only choice." Otherwise you can choose "(player name)'s Place", "The Purple Door", "Noblesse Oblige", or type in a name of your own.
- A milky-eyed sot: you can buy him a drink for 5 and he will say a number of seemingly meaningless things.
- At the near table may be NPCs, depending on your actions the previous day:
- Day 1: If you didn't kill the fishmen in The Watchful Eye Office, you can chat with them about books.
- Day 2: The groundskeeper from Goldthwait Park (if you completed all the sidequests) and the joke salesman from the boarding house (if you solved the mystery). Get 25 for talking to the pair of them.
- Day 3: The two young women from The Nightingale Diner at the beginning of the game.
- Day 4: The barbecuing student from Zeta Omega Omicron and the jacket guy from Phi Upsilon Tau, if you completed their quests. Get 35 for talking to the pair of them.
- Day 5: Fabian and Jeffers, if you rescued them from the Gatorman Hamlet and Gatorman Village respectively. If both are there, talk to them for a crate of milk.
- Day 6: Iola and Xenia from Jasper's crew.
- A first aid kit: once per day you can find: 4 of gauze pad, activated charcoal briquette
- Any companions not currently with you will populate the dance floor here. You can chat with them to switch companions.

Trivia
When asking Fancy Dan about the spittoon, he references a "Mumflr fumperdink". Mumflr is the name of Markiplier's West of Loathing charchter and his love for spittoons.
Noblesse Oblige is the name of a Kingdom of Loathing clan, famous for its prominent members' philanthropic deeds. It's named for noblesse oblige, an expression meaning that the privileged have a responsibility to aid and protect others.
