Quests

Find eleven recovered padlocks for Pepperidge.

Otherwise, here's one path through the puzzle's tangled web:

• Search the tree stump outside, on the left. Find Dauphin padlock key (mossy) - unlocks fridge in the Kitchen.
• Check the Kitchen drawer for a padlock, requiring no key.
• Open the Kitchen fridge in the kitchen for a padlock. Find a key in a block of ice - bring it to the Bathroom.
• Drop the ice-encased key in the Bathroom tub. Find Dauphin padlock key (cold) - opens medicine cabinet here in the Bathroom.
• Open the Bathroom medicine cabinet for a padlock.
• Try to flush the Bathroom toilet and check it out. Find Dauphin padlock key (wet) - unlocks Second Floor.
• Unlock door to the upstairs for a padlock.
• Right Bedroom wardrobe has pants and a wire coat hanger for the car outside.
• Check under Right Bedroom pillow. Find Dauphin padlock key (shiny) - unlocks Left Bedroom.
• Enter the Left Bedroom and get a padlock.
• Search the Left Bedroom nightstand. Find Dauphin padlock key (disappointing) - unlocks door to the Attic.
• Enter the Attic, getting a padlock.
• Grab handmade radio from the workbench.
• Listen to the radio in Second Floor Hallway.
• Search the Second Floor empty planter. Find Dauphin padlock key (dirty) - unlocks nightstand in Right Bedroom.
• Get the Right Bedroom nightstand's padlock.
• Listen to the radio in Left Bedroom.
• Search the portraits in Main Hall. Find Dauphin padlock key (sticky) - opens toolbox in Garage.
• Unlock the car outside with a wire coat hanger. Find Dauphin padlock key (tarnished) - unlocks Garage
• Enter the Garage, getting its padlock.
• Unlock the Garage toolbox, getting its padlock. Find Dauphin padlock key (rusty) - opens china cabinet in Main Hall.
• Listen to the radio in Garage.
• Check under the Garage bench. Find Dauphin padlock key (loose) - opens chest in Left Bedroom.
• Get the Main Hall china cabinet's padlock.
• Get the Left Bedroom chest's padlock.

Interactions

Outside

• A fence you can paint (when on the quest to paint fences) for 15 .
• A large tree with a hole in it containing Dauphin padlock key (mossy).
• Find an abandoned gatorman campsite and one of:
  • Charles' wrench (first campsite found)
  • Charles' other wrench (second campsite found)
  • Charles' wrench set and unlock Gatorman Fortress (third campsite found)
  • Does not show up if three other campsites have been found elsewhere.
• Jimmy a car open with a wire coat hanger to get a Dauphin padlock key (tarnished).

Garage

• Examine the cinder blocks and find:
  • Cryptobotanist: glowing ooze
  • Insectologist: fustulent grulch
  • Psychogeologist: sordid grease
• With a Dauphin padlock key (sticky), open the chest of tools to get a recovered padlock, handsaw, Dauphin padlock key (rusty).
• Listen to the radio and check the workbench to find Dauphin padlock key (loose) and 11-in-1 oil.

Main Hall

• Portraits of Calpernia, Mopey, Hortense, Beasley, Goldilocks and Fanceworth Dauphin, all of whom died by natural causes. After listening to the radio in the left bedroom, find Dauphin padlock key (sticky) behind Calpernia's portrait.
• A door to upstairs, requiring Dauphin padlock key (wet).
• A serving tray you can peer under. It's empty.
• Use the Dauphin padlock key (rusty) to unlock a china cabinet to get recovered padlock and fine china helmet.

Flooded Basement

Requires a diving helmet to enter.

• find pile of silver bars.

• A shadow rift containing the shadow candle.

• Try to flush the toilet to get a Dauphin padlock key (wet), then flush it again for . Go fishing in it with a rod equipped to get fish zester.
• A fishing spot in the tub of steaming water.
• With a key in a block of ice, you can drop it in the tub to get a Dauphin padlock key (cold).
  • Use the Dauphin padlock key (cold) to unlock the medicine cabinet to get recovered padlock and first aid kit items.

Kitchen

Second Floor Hallway

Listen to the handmade radio on the second floor to learn about the Dauphin padlock key (dirty) in the rightmost planter.

Left Bedroom

• Use the Dauphin padlock key (shiny) to get in the room and get a recovered padlock:
  • Search the drawer to find junk drawer items, and Dauphin padlock key (disappointing).
  • Use the Dauphin padlock key (loose) to unlock the large chest to get a recovered padlock and perfumed wedding veil.
  • Find radium rouge in the dresser, a jewelry box and a mirror.

Attic

• Use the Dauphin padlock key (disappointing) to get in and get a recovered padlock:
  • Find a handmade radio.

Right Bedroom

• • Use the Dauphin padlock key (dirty) to open the nightstand and get a creepy music box and recovered padlock:
