Uses

This item is part of the Cursed items found across Chapters. Return it to Jessica in Murray's Antique Store and uncursing it transforms into Uncursed Key.

Effect

The cursed key can be used to open almost any lock without needing to find the respective keys. However, each opening of a lock increases the player's shadow taint.

• The cursed key will sometimes "refuse" to open certain locks throughout the game.
• The cursed key cannot open the gate to the Black House as it is prevented by a strange force.

Uncursed Form

"Putting that terrible key on a chain has rendered it decorative."

After being purified via the uncursing machine, the cursed key turns into uncursed key.
