A Dream About School is the first dream sequence in the game, and also the one where you choose your player character's class and minor gathering perk.
Interactions
- Your dorm bed.
- A poster of Jacob Marley.
- A person whose face keeps changing, and they can't remember which locker is theirs. After checking the lockers, you can tell them which is theirs, and they settle on a face.
- Agent of Chaos: "The sparrow flies at noon."
- Lost Soul: "I don't know who I am either."
- A set of lockers. Insist on checking the seventh locker to find overdue library book.
- If you found the prologue cat, you can pet them here to gain Dream Cat's Boon.
- A portrait of our founder, Branworth Gorvunculus III.
- An academic advisor asks who you are.
- You can pick your class:
- Pig Skinner: As accomplished athletes, Pig Skinners use their Muscle to solve problems. In combat, they prefer the direct application of physical force, punctuated by giving the occasional noogie.
- Cheese Wizard: As trained Chef-Magi, Cheese Wizards use their intellect and Mysticality to accomplish their goals. In combat, they wield hard, elemental cheeses to damage their foes and soft, soothing cheeses to heal themselves and their allies.
- Jazz Agent: Masters of syncopation and improvisation, Jazz Agents use their rhythm and Moxie to move through the world in style. In combat, they attack with subtlety, weakening their enemies and stacking the odds in their favor over time.
- And your minor gathering skill:
- Cryptobotany: Ah, a Cryptobotanist! So you're an expert in all manner of plant-based arcana.
- Insectologist: Ah, an Insectologist! So you're an expert on the bugs and the birds and the bees and such.
- Psychogeologist: Ah, a Psychogeologist! So you know a lot about rocks and gems and their hopes and dreams.
- Walk through the door at the end to wake up.
