In the first segment, find three statues of you. With no tongue from last night's dream, you can shut one of them up and gain the Pep Talk perk. The perk's effect depends on which statue shuts up:

• The scowling one: +1 Moxie, +1 Mysticality
• The smug-looking one: +1 Muscle, +1 Moxie
• The one with the hip shades: +1 Muscle, +1 Mysticality
• Flip a coin -- a 3-sided one (Agent of Chaos): pick at random

The Dream of the Old Dean

Next, you are Dean Wormwood of S.I.T., floating through a negative space.

• A lectern. "My research wasn't thorough enough." (or, if you assisted Dean Wormwood) "1928 already! Curse me for not taking a calendar into the stacks."
• The President of Shadows. "What did you do, you idiot?" (or) "She... is she the one? Or... the previous one?"
• Your nemesis. "I couldn't get near the place." (or) "Familiar energy... [He/She]'s been testing my wards..."
• The Dean's warding sigils. "Will the barrier hold without me?" (or) "I fear I won't be able to hold out much longer."

Then you are yourself again. To the right of the exit door, find the Dream Cat if unlocked in the prologue.
