Valley Hardware has been the best, and only, hardware store in the valley for over eleven years.
Quests
You come here as part of the main quest. See Shadows over Loathing quests#Chapter 2 Main Quest.
Going back in time, you can rent the last outhouse for 200 meat. You can set it up in one of three spots. You can return here at any time to change its location. Setting up the outhouse lets you travel through time in those locations:
- Sandwich Museum / Village of Sandwich
- Greta's Compassionate Pet Store / Grady's Live Bait
- Mushroom Mountain / Mushroom Cave
After completing the quest at Delphine Farmhouse, a fourth spot is available:

With level 6 Hobo Literacy, you can translate some hobo glyphs which read "NICE MAN. ASK HIM FOR CANDY."

Once inside, you can ask the man at the counter for candy to get a hard candy.
- On the Mob quest, you can try to shake him down. He suggests that his cans of paint could use shaking. You help him by shaking his cans.

- If you have 10,000 meat, you can buy the barrel, and get a portable barrel as well. You earn an achievement and you can fish in your barrel.
