The bank key is under the mat out front. The key opens all three locks if you meet the stat requirement. Each lock is named and has different requirements:

• Phylax (requires 7 Muscle)
• Methepon (requires 8 Mysticality)
• Sneaky Pete (requires 6 Moxie)
  • If you have not attempted to unlock Sneaky Pete, it unlocks itself once you open the other two:

    With the two locks of Phylax and Methepon defanged, the head of Sneaky Pete bends back its jaws and releases its lock with a yawn. The key to Sneaky Pete, apparently, was not to use a key.

• Or, use the cursed key to open the three locks.

Securebus Building & Loan

• A lamp you can turn off.
• A plaque on the wall reading: "July 4, 1899. TODAY WE CELEBRATE OUR OPENING OF SECUREBERUS BUILDING & LOAN at PLUNKETT STREET, OCEAN CITY"
• A large portrait of a 3-headed dog. "Integrity, Security, Excellence." A corporate value for each head of the dog.
• A cash register. "Standing by the cash register, you fantasize about what it would be like to have a service job, instead of whatever it is you do." You can remind the narrator that your job is:
  • Freelance uncursing
  • I work at a gas station[, restaurant, quarry, and factory]. The text changes and lengthens if you
    • found the gas station personnel file,
    • insisted you are an employee at Fission Chips (Secret Underground Restaurant),
    • found your employee file at Haim Quarry,
    • and/or got the Ford employee records envelope).
  • Either way, you can try to open the cash register. Enter code "3" for 3 or force it open with 6 Muscle. Gain 19 .
    • If you forced it open, the sprinklers turn on and stay on.
    • If you pressed 3, find a tiny button with 5 Moxie. Press the button to make it rain.

Attempt to open the vault door, failing completely:

• Kick it. "Ow."
• Punch it. "Ouch."
• Shoot it. Bang.
• Tie the vault to a car and drive down the street. Adds a crashed car to the scenery inside and outside.

Securebus Building & Loan (Vault)

The vault can be accessed by completing the Mudhenge quest and wishing for Meat twice. The first time wishing will lead you to The Wreck of the Longerfellow. Once you've turned off its equipment, the second time wishing at Mudhenge will teleport you into the vault, which can then be unlocked from the inside.

• Chelsea Holstein-Gottorp: Just salt.
