The S.I.T. Geology Classroom is where you learn about rocks by punching them really hard.
Quests
This class is part of the main quest if you signed up for a Geology minor.
First, you need to fix the elevator.
- Check the poster on the left if Lambda Iota Theta isn't already on your map.
- Examine the machine next to the elevator. It's missing a switch hexrock.
- Travel to Lambda Iota Theta and grab the elevator power rock from the third floor.
- Return to the classroom and put the rock in the machine.
Take the elevator down to the mine.
- Talk to Dr. Josie Morton. She twisted her ankle and needs an ankle-healing potion.
- Fight your way around and find the medical cabinets.
- You find the ankle-restoring potion in the fourth cabinet you check.
- Give Josie the potion.
- Take the elevator back up and speak with her once more to sign your transcript.

Geology Classroom
- Five informational plinths.
- A switch hexrock that toggles the big hexrock next to it.

Hexrock Mine
In the elevator chamber:
- A lab bench.
- An emergency eyewash station where you can splash some water on your face.
In the other outer chambers:
- Some fights with hexrock monsters.
- You can encounter Crackling hexrock, Glimmering hexrock, Luminous hexrock, Rumble of hexrocks, and Thrum of hexrocks.
- The monsters drop extra-shiny hexrock, hexrock badge, hexrock blaster, hexrock helmet, hexrock powder, hexrock powder, jagged hexrock shard, and loyal hexrock.
- Five medical cabinets. Find ankle-restoring potion and gauze ascot in the fourth and fifth cabinets you check.
- A little hex-shaped hidey hole containing some extra-shiny hexrocks, jagged hexrock shards, and hexrock powder.
- Glowing fungus. Cryptobotanist: Harvest glowing ooze
- A really energetic rock. Psychogeologist: Harvest energizing powder.
- A big hexrock with a switch to toggle it. A rat sits behind the big rock, but it's not afraid of you.
Hexrock Mine Central Chamber
- A hole full of unlimited rock monsters to fight.
- A hexrock blocking a trap door to the steam tunnels, with a switch rock to toggle it.
- A hexrock blocking the way to the elevator chamber, with a switch rock to toggle it.
- A big contraption that seems too important to mess with.
- A shadow rift containing the shadow hammer.
