Quests

1/3 of a can of gas can be found:

• Inside the boxcar, on the left
• Behind the boxcar, in the car past the minotaur
• Behind the boxcar, in the fridge to the right

Interactions

A short walk farther west from Farmer Chekov's House, you find a single boxcar. Upon entering the boxcar, you can:

• Talk to Howie. Accept clam jerky, a Muscle-increasing food.
  • Ask him where he's from, and hear about the railroad bull.
  • Chat with him on your way out after defeating the bull. He'll be glad to hear it. (He'll appear at the Hobo Camp in Chapter 1.)
• Ask Howie about the knapsack. It isn't his.
  • With 3 Moxie, open it to get a little silver key.
• Rummage through a pile of garbage to find a 1917 S.I.T. class ring
• With 1 Hot Armor, grab a crowbar from the burn barrel.
  • You need welding gloves from Farmer Chekov's House.

With 2 Muscle, open the door to get behind the boxcar.

• If you had 2+ Muscle when you first entered the boxcar, the requirement is 3 instead.

• Read the carving on the tree: "It says HOWIE LOVES PLAYING THE HARMONICA. Aww."

To the right:

• Look in the pot of stew on the stove. There's a grimy spatula there.
• Open the indoor/outdoor refrigerator and find more gasoline.

To the left:

• Defeat the railroad bull for 5 . Since your Muscle is already buffed up, try equipping a melee weapon, like the baseball bat from the gas station.
• Take a look at the 1911 Ford Milkcrate-for-Wheels, there's more gasoline to be found in its gas can.
