As a Jazz Agent, come to The Shadow I. R. S. to settle an account. And also pay your taxes. As any other class, the I.R.S. remains locked.

You can optionally fight the Folding, Stapling, and/or Singeing clerks. Once a clerk is defeated, you can do that task yourself regardless of which form you have.
You can also fight the notary, but it won't help you in the quest.
Assuming you don't fight anyone:
- Talk to the Remittance clerk on the right.
- Grab an IRS form on the left.
- Talk to the Folding clerk. No matter what form you got, they tell you it's the wrong form.
- Shred your form on the left and get a new one, starting with the correct letter.
- Get it folded.
- Talk to the Stapling clerk. If it ends in an even digit, she tells you it needs to end in an odd digit, or vice-versa.
- Shred this form too.
Now you can get a form you can actually use. Make sure it:
- Starts with the letter the Folding clerk demands.
- Ends with an even or odd digit, as the Stapling clerk demands. (Zero is even.)
- Has an odd or even digit somewhere in it, opposite the stapler's demand. The Singeing clerk will require this.
Have it folded and stapled.
- Take it to the paper cutter on the right. Slice off digits until it ends in an odd or even digit, according to the Singeing clerk's demand.
- Have it singed.
- Ask the notary to notarize your form. Either pay them 1000
or travel to Charlestown State Pen, where the prisoner in 1A can notarize it for no charge. - Take the notarized, singed, stapled, and folded form to the Remittance clerk and pay 16 .

- A bewildering array of forms. You can grab one IRS form, with a random name.
- A paper shredder will destroy your form.
- A paper cutter will remove the last letter from your form.
- Folding will only fold a form starting with a random letter, being B, R, I, C, or K.
- Stapling will only staple a form ending in an even or odd number, rejecting the first one you bring.
- Singeing will only singe a form ending in an odd or even number, opposite the stapler.
- Notary will notarize the form for 1000 meat, or hints that there are cheaper notaries elsewhere.
- Remittance will take your form if it is folded, stapled, singed and notarized.
