Barbara Yargara's Hut is home to a kindly witch and her bird friends.
Quests
Talk to Barbara Yargara.
- You can fight eight of her bird friends while she supports them.
- Be ready to take lots of Bleeding and AOE attacks.
- Or help her with chores.
- Muck out the birdbath (requires 6ish Sleaze Armor and Stench Armor)
- Collect the 5 ripe cattails outside.
- Then report to Barbara. She asks you to get birdseed from the basement.
- You need increasing amounts of Spooky Armor to explore deeper. With 5 Spooky Armor, find bag of birdseed.
- Return the birdseed to get Barbara Yargara feather.

- A fishing spot in the bird bath.
- After cleaning it, you can't fish in it, but can splash some water on your face.
- Cryptobotanist: harvest the typha panthera for powerful grit (2) and impenetrable shellac.
- Hobo glyphs requiring level 16 Hobo Literacy: "ASK THIS GAL FOR A TREAT." Ask Barbara to get a breath mint.
Inside
- An arcane oven.
- A mirror.
- An indoor birdbath. After helping her she will give you the small birdbath, which you can put in Your Room.
Basement
- A shadow rift containing the shadow egg.
People
Notes
- Barbara is invulnerable. You win when you defeat the last bird.
- Bug: The combat softlocks if, while 2 or more birds remain, you defeat all of them at once (with a single combat item, skill use, or AOE attack). The game doesn't recognize that you won, and the only way out is to surrender.
