Interactions
- The grasshopper pump: A pretty standard crank-powered Pitman arm setup. They're using a Gertberg linkage, and they've cross-threaded it. A crufty but parseable fudge.
- A burnoff tower: You'd be shocked to find out there's any kind of filter at all in there. Blech. Though, they're controlling heat flow through the metal by setting their thermocouple to 17.2 watts per mil. That might make for a winning tweak to your soldering iron. Simone's Soldering Iron now applies twice as much On Fire.
- A small backup generator: Just to run the extra diagnostic functions on the burnoff tower. Hugely inefficient. These engineers are total jocks.
- The generator running the derrick: Oh, bogus. They're penny-pinching, these bearings haven't been serviced in eons, and way too much friction. They're really gonna get the lose they deserve.
- Lunchbox: A cornbread sandwich. No structural integrity. A real cretinous misfeature.
