Uncursing the cursed key

The Key's Curse wants you to play a detective, solving a murder on a train with great powers of deduction and observation.

That's right. Wants.

Uncursing

  • Speak with the coroner, then with the three other passengers in the car.
  • Activate DETECTIVE MODE with all three of them.
  • Talk to the coroner again and announce that the victim was
    • poisoned...
    • by Yume Ryuokenshi...
    • with exotic poison from the Almodovar rubber tree...
    • to void Martin Perry's CAR DUNCE grade so he could make tires for Mr. Andretti.

The coroner — the curse — is pleased and gives you a mysterious owl ring. Not just in the curse world; it's in your inventory, as you sit there in the antiques shop. Go play with it if you like.

But you're not done here.

  • Give the coroner another story; anything other than the correct one.
  • Give another incorrect deduction.
  • Tell him Yes, you really do want to live in the dark.

You've spat in the curse's face, and it takes the owl ring back before collapsing. You gain 25 XP and your uncursed key upgrades to +50% Item Drops.
