General Bruise's Lair is where he hangs out, smoking cigars and waiting for protagonists to come defeat him.

You find yourself in a large yet squalid office, filled with assorted military memorabilia and even more assorted trash. This is clearly Bruise's office, even before you take into consideration the fact that he's standing right over there.

Confront General Bruise. You have three options:

• Challenge him to arm-wrestle you to the death with Brag.
  • You need 10^ish Muscle and 8^ish Spooky Armor.
  • On success, gain 22 , and your character agrees to let him live on condition of exile.
  • You can also fight his second form, if you feel like it.
• Fight him in his first and second forms.
• Absorb him if you have Shadow Taint level 5. You get Bruise's hat.

When you defeat him by any means, you lose Bruise's Mark, if you had it.
