This is a tarnished and blackened silver statuette in the shape of some sort of... creature. You can't tell what it is specifically, or even if it has two legs or four legs or wings or what, but it's depicted with reverence.
Looking at it makes your stomach feel weird, like you're starving but also full to the point of nausea at the same time.
