Looking at the code, it depends when you find the rod as to what happens. Either you see the text "The fishing rod is caked in salt. Either it hasn't been cleaned in a long time, or the captain uses it to catch horses." or "The captain shrieks "HORSE" in his sleep." — Game widow talk 18:14, 12 October 2023 (UTC)
