You give her almost a whole mouth's worth of gold teeth, and she draws a long, slow breath. "So many," she whispers, and she seems to see you for the first time. She looks you up and down, then takes a piece of string out of her pocket and uses it to measure your head.

She picks some more bones out of those scattered on the floor -- ribs, finger bones, fragments of skull, more teeth -- and carefully sorts them on her workbench. You can't really see what happens after that, because you'd have to actually look over her shoulder, and it seems like a bad idea to disturb her.

After a time, she turns back around, holding a beautiful, ornate crown of bone, ivory, and gold. "Thank you," she whispers as she hands it to you.
