Doug is a chef who was kidnapped by the Stripey Hat Gang gang outside of Dirtwater. He was held captive in Cavern Canyon and forced to cook terrible food for them, even though there was a perfectly good stove and ingredients just outside of his reach.
Doug has an idea for a food he calls a "hot-doug". Upon being released from his imprisonment by the player character, he opens a shop Hot Doug's Hot Dogs that sells hot-dogs, as the name "hot-doug" was already taken and happens to mean terrible things.
